Wow--that was a really interesting read! I'm not a runner (I wish I was, but I just don't think I have the right body type). But I really found this intriguing.

Sara Hall's husband, Ryan, is no slouch either. He just came in fifth place in the Flora London Marathon, running the second fastest marathon time ever for an American (and fastest ever for a native born American). Imagine the gene pool their kids will have.
